Far from your average producer…

From the same musically fertile grounds that sprouted the organic sounds of OutKast, Cee-lo and Jermaine Dupri, Matthewhew Head is putting the magic back in music. More like a composer than a “beatmaker” Matthew recorded his first track at the age of 10 and was trained on the classical piano. No sampling here.

When Matthew produces a track, it’s organic; it’s a feeling that stirs deep down within his soul. Like Ray Charles and Quincy Jones, Matthew sees music as being timeless. Not hot. He works closely with every artist he records with. Encourages their input. As an artist he understands that music is more than a hard hat and a snare, it’s freedom.

Freedom to be creative; freedom to push the envelope; freedom to dream as big as your imagination will allow…

Matthew works with those who share in his vision to take music as far as it can go. In addition to releasing his much talked about “Interview With a Producer Vol. 1” album, he has scored films that have been shown at Sundance, (“The Kissing Bandit” 2007), highly controversial audio books (Whatever Happened to Baby Jon Benet, The Investigation of the Child Murder by Rita Johnson) and produced Stellar Award nominated albums (Euclid’s “Father Guide Me”). His work speaks for itself.
